Online Dating "Don'ts" for Women

Online Dating "Don'ts" for Women include not writing your life story while chatting online or via email, not lying about age, marital status, employment, height, weight, and other factors, not getting too excited, not playing the "hard-to-get" game, not insisting on a face-to-face meeting, and playing it safe while remaining cool.

Some things should never be done by a woman while in an online relationship with a man. These events are certain to put an end to any further communications with him.

Do not write your life story while chatting online or via email. His vision will blur and he will fall out of his chair. Keep it brief until he asks for more information... Then slowly provide them while only answering the questions he poses.

For example, if he asks how many siblings you have, he is NOT enquiring about your interactions with them. He's only interested in how many you have. Say you have two (or whatever number is correct), and then ask how many he has. You should ask one of him for every question he asks you. Nothing turns a man off more than a long-winded woman who doesn't know when to stop talking or when to listen.

Never, ever, ever, ever lie. I truly believe that lies will eventually catch up with you. In their online profiles, many women (and men) lie about their age, marital status, employment, height, weight, and a variety of other factors. That is a huge error. If you find a man you are truly interested in, he will discover you lied, and any chance of the relationship progressing will be lost. So, just be truthful. Someone out there will like you...even come to love you...for exactly who you are.

Don't get too excited. It makes you appear desperate, which turns men off. They are conquerors first and foremost, and if getting the person of their desires to like them is too easy, they will quickly lose interest. I don't mean to play the "hard-to-get" game. Don't insist on a face-to-face meeting. Don't send them too many emails or instant messages. Play it safe while remaining cool.
